Einstein said Biology would be the science of the Twenty-First Century, but the interest in Aliens and Anthropology, far outweigh the prior.

I don’t think people are too dumb, I’m sure their elementary school did the ol’ bean-in-the-cup trick—witnessing the little green tendril, piercing through the dark-brown dirt—first thing in the morning; if not, it’s worth doing now. Science, for the price of a cup and a little water; and a lesson in patience.

I still feel it today, when I plant grow something, and stare at the soil below, envisioning white roots wiggling next to a fungi and red worms—with a garnish of wood chips, *mmm,* “That’s some good soil.” Set up a little compost tea date, to keep the nasty bacteria, fungi, and viruses away.
